BIOGRAPHY'S
Terry K. Hatfield
Mr. Hatfield has spent his entire
30-year career in the hospitality
industry and continues to serve as a
hospitality leader with outstanding
industry perspective and expertise. His
hotel and condo-hotel experience runs
the gamut from General Manager, Regional
Directors of Operations, Vice President
of Business Development, Vice President
of Operations, Chief Operating Officer
and Chief Executive Officer to
independent Developer and Online
Marketing Executive. While representing
hospitality corporations such as Western
Inn, Inc., High Country Corporation,
Rocky Mountain Hospitality and
Hospitality Marketing and Management,
Mr. Hatfield has gained respect as one
of the innovative leaders within the
industry.
With a B.S. in Management, Mr. Hatfield
has served on several boards, associations, industry
leadership groups and charitable
organizations throughout his career,
including the prestigious International
Arts & Film Foundation for Children,
Children’s Miracle Marketing Network and
many others. He currently serves as an
ongoing speaker and mentor with The
Executive Committee (TEC) and gives
monthly seminars on “management by
objective” along with the
corporate-level and inn-level business
planning process.
Mr. Hatfield is a licensed Florida Real
Estate Salesman and is a board member of
two hotel development companies,
including the HotelVestor Hospitality
Network. He is also the founder of
several online travel companies and
related travel sites, including
HotelMotelRates.com LLC and Hotel-Rates.com.
Michael McGinnis
Director of Operations
Mr. McGiniis is a native of Missouri and
completed his under graduate degree at
Missouri State University. After the
Marine Corp, Mr. McGinnis started his 35
year hospitality marketing and
management career in Tennessee. Working
with such firms as Hilton, Sheraton,
Hyatt, Holiday Inn and Best Western,
Mike has become known for his “hands on”
style of operation and his exceptional
people skills. With an operational
philosophy based on “Customer Service
and Satisfaction”, HCMS properties
achieve higher overall occupancies due
to our caring nature for the guest.
Mr. McGinnis is a Certified Hotel
Administrator and has completed most of
the brand management training programs
at Choice, Wyndham and Hilton. He serves
on several committees affiliated with
the Florida Hotel and Lodging
Association and is active in several,
county-to-county lodging associations.
Mr. McGinnis has been recognized by his
peers as a leaders in innovative
marketing techniques and has been
directly responsible for the turn-around
of several hotel and condo-hotel related
projects throughout the southeast.
Mike played a major role in the
development of the new and upcoming
hotel franchise company, Vista Inns
(related brands Vista Inns & Suites,
Vista Hotels & Resorts) and is currently
concentrating on generating a room-night
generation source for HCMS’s condo-hotel
market.
James J. Baldock
Regional Director
James has in excess of 30 years with all
major franchises, including Hilton,
Choice and Cendant. Prior to joining
Hotel Condo Management Services, James
has work with firms such as Victor
Management, AIRCOA, Hall Street
Corporation and Grand Hotel Management
Corporation. His career started as an
entry-level employee in Canada and has
included all level of achievements.
James is a Certified Hotel
Administrator, is a board member on the
Osceola County Tourist and Development
Council, the Osceola Chamber of Commerce
Board along with other business and
tourist related associations. James
holds a B.S. in Business Administration
and has completed the owners and the
general managers training with most
major franchise companies in America,
including Hilton, Choice Hotels and the
Wyndham Hotel Group of Brands.
